the Herald of seasons

My cousin has the second version of this drawing, which looks MUCH better... oh well, this is the one I could scan.

One should never remember, even in the harshest winds of winter, that seasons will always come and go. Under the snow and ice sleeps Summer. In the birth of every bud of spring can be seen the reds and the rains of fall.
