There is something about pokémon, in general, that brings forth some disturbing prehistoric fear. The flee or fight mechanism in me just twitches. Of course this doesn't mean I randomly run away from children who play pokémon or swat gameboys out of their hands. There is just something 'evil' about the cute creatures... and the whole 'got to catch them all' mentality.
Brainwashing comes to mind. Seriously though, very cool that you were able to create this cake, icing is always the pain in the butt part of making a cake. I like the strawberry nose.
